Easy Peasy Headband Tutorial

Isn't she pretty?  I made her.(the child and the headband)
It's the first of the month and that means a new challenge at Reasonable Ribbon!!
The theme is black and white!
Miss B was just happy that I made something with dinosaurs!
Her backpack for school is a dinosaur with a hoodie attached.  It has spikes like a stegosaurus. =)
Kids...what can you do?
Make headbands...that's what!
For this one, I took a length of ribbon, held it to her head where she would actually wear the headband and added 2 inches for the overlap.   Then I went up to the bathroom and grabbed a ponytail holder.

Position the ponytail holder on top of the ribbon and sew the end up.  That is it!!!
It couldn't be any easier!  Wait...I lied...yes it could...Use Beacon Fabri-Tac!  That stuff lasts through the wash!!!  Go forth and make headbands!!
Ribbon:stash $0
Ponytail holder:stash $0
Free, baby!!!!

  8. Are you attaching both ends of the ribbon to the ponytail holder? I am having the after Christmas "my brain has taken the morning off" momment and really can't figure out how this goes around a head and stays....more info please

  9. April, You don't have an email attached to your profile so I will answer your question here. I took the ribbon and wrapped it around the ponytail elastic. Then I took the other end of the ribbon and wrapped it around the opposite side of the ponytail elastic. I hope that helps.
