Sewing Machine Sign

I used a 10" x 31" piece of wood for the base of this project then covered it in October Afternoon paper.
You can't go wrong with October Afternoon paper.
I applied a vinyl cut out from EAD Designs.
Then I embellished it with some Hambly stickers and Maya Road chipboard pieces(the banners and little dress forms, sewing machines and scissors).
I covered them in Ranger Glossy Accents and then added Martha Stewart micro beads on top!!!!
I {big puffy heart} micro beads!
I thought that it needed a little sumthin' so I took a tape measure and ruffled it up along the bottom.  The pink and black flowers at the top are also Maya Road.
Because it still felt naked on the sides, I found some tea cup hooks and added some ribbon.
I love the color and dimension the ribbons add.  Clearly this isn't all of my ribbon...that would rip the sign out of the wall...I have ribbon issues.
I will leave you with a close up from the side:
I am linking this up to the Paper Issues "I Can See Clearly" theme.

  11. Cassie--This is *sew* awesome (sorry)! It's so true. I had a recent situation with my sewing machine where a bobbin broke, I ran a=out of thread and managed to break a needle-- all during one sewing session. I love your sign! Malia

I would say I needed one but everyone time I bust out my sewing machine I am reminded that it it is smarter than me so I shove it back in it's cupboard!
