Bird Baby Shower

I made some more diaper cakes.
I love these.
I wrapped these in tulle...I wanted them to look a little less diaper-like.
I had originally purchased some straight branches and thought I would be able to wrap them around.
That didn't work...so I went back to the store and bought a swag...it had leaves on it and so I stripped them off and they wrapped around perfectly!
I made the cream color flowers from cardstock.  I also added some mint green stripe leaves made from October Afternoon Paper.  The small mint and peach flowers are Prima.
There are eggs in the nest.  This shower was for someone having twins.  I didn't want the cakes to be too matchy matchy.  She didn't say to make them exactly the same.
The roof is covered in an October Afternoon polka dot paper. I used a punch to make the scallops then inked and fluffed it a bit.  I wish I could get these in real house size.  I would LOVE polka dot shingles on the house.  Who cares what the neighbors think!
I bought the little bird house and glued it to the top of a candlestick.  They were both unfinished wood, way too light in color.  I sprayed them both with Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist.  Just enough glimmer to say "Cassie was here"  but not over the top, ya know.
The last thing I made were these wish cards for the Wishing Tree.  Each guest wrote a little something and hung it on the tree for the baby.   I hope they ate cake in my honor. =)
