I sliced off 1 inch pieces, then wiped them down with a half white paint/half water mix.
Nothing fancy...I used a paper towel. LOL!
Then I slapped on some chipboard letters and embellished.
Bam! Done.

awesome- I too went to Lowe's back in the summer and had them cut me some blocks....where are they??? Still in the closet!! Love yours though~
