We have a new issue up at Paper Issues!
My Happy Place
We just got this amazing dark woodgrain cardstock in so I thought it would pair well with my tree picture.
The cardstock is 113#, it's amazing. It has the texture of real wood.
We went on vacation and went hiking at Ha Ha Tonka State Park at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
It was amazing. There was so much to see!
I snapped this picture of a tree on one of the trails. I did not carve the heart, btw...but I still love it.
I love discovering awesomeness in my own backyard.
This is also my first time using a font on my Cameo.
I know, I know...I've had it for long enough.
I think I may be addicted!
I chose the Clipper Script font for my "together" cut.
I love that font website because you can put in the word that you are wanting to cut and "audition" it before you commit.
That's important. Sometimes capital script letters are wonky.
I found a bag of tree branch slices at a store that I was in a few years ago.
I have hoarded them...until now...I used a few as confetti on my page.
They are super cool. I think I need more.
Anyhoo...come link up a project with your Happy Place and you could win a prize package from Chic Tags!
I also used Quilt Houndstooth pp from Pebbles Lakeside, Frozen Limba vellum, banner punch, woodgrain punchinella from gauche Alchemy, wood bits from Studio Calico, cork sheets, woodgrain tape, and slices of a tree branch.
